More From The Road

I am in Santa Fe, NM for about 3 days. This is one of my favorite place to come through.

Yesterday I popped in the new Coldplay CD and walked around looking at God's creation. What a time!!! I realize that I haven't talked much about the X & Y. I cannot stop listening to it. My plan is to learn all the material so I can fill in for Chris if he gets sick. Whatever...Great record.

We are getting some great response everynight when we do the new song that Dave and I wrote called "I Will Run (Into Your Arms)". It will be on the Live CD that will release sometime in September or October of this year.

There were some more interesting posts as well. After it is all said and done, I can only hope that we are helping in the cause to be more aware of the Kingdom. Teenagers can change the world when they are impassioned to bring the Kingdom to earth by how they live life.

Foo Fighters - In Your Honor

Today is a long awaited day for me. The release of one of my favorite bands over the last 10 years, the Foo Fighters. In Your Honor is an amazing record! Best Of You the single is one of the best tracks! There is much to talk about on this CD, but honestly I don't have the time. Maybe later.

Road & Live CD UPDATE

Last week I (w/ Among Thorns) recorded a live CD in IL at WILD WEEK (a youth camp). After all is said and done the record should drop sometime in the fall. More on that as I know more.

There were 1300 teenagers there at the camp. Teens from MS, TX, FL, OH, TN, VA, and more states. It was a great week, but I am worn. After we left IL we made our way to Harrison, AR where we played a headlining set as a part of their weekend event. We had a good night overall...I think we scared them a bit;)

Summer Tour

My summer tour starts today. We will be in IL, "Land of Lincoln", MO the "show me state" (whatever that means), and AR "home of...... Evanescence!??!".

The road is usually interesting, so keep checking back to hear and see what's up. I will try to post when I can.
