'Narnia' Overcomes 'Kong' at Box Office

Peter Jackson, NOT King Kong

Seems that the public is still speaking. Narnia again topped Kong at the Box Office.

To read more about the Narnia / Kong battle go HERE.
I just saw "Kong" last night. So consider this entry my Review. Here goes...
Peter Jackson's "King Kong" is a long, drawn out, busy, pointless, waist of $300 Million. There were 2 upsides to the film, Jack Black and "The End".

*Blogstar's Most Asked Question 0f 2005

January 2006 will mark 1 year that my blog has been online. Over that time the most FAQ has been "what's up with the name, Blogstar"?

It's simple really. I don't tend to take myself too seriously. No, I am NOT a self proclaimed "blogstar". The self-titled *Blogstar is fairly humorous for anyone who knows me. I could quite possibly be the worst blogger ever. I guess I just thought that it had a good ring to it, rather than Chad's blog (that's for you Matt ;)!)

I enjoy music, torn european jeans, strange hair styles (while I have it), some trends, art, and have been called "rockstar" several years now.... and so I thought, Blogstar would be kinda funny.

What's in your name?

Beastie Boys

The Beastie Boys have been one of my favorite groups for several years now. I spent way too much time on their web site remixing and playing around like only white boys can dream to do!

They allow you to download a cappella song tracks to remix yourself. Go HERE.

I will never forget trying to hide my first Beastie Boys cassette from my mother. Ahhh, good times.

*For the record, I do not endorse the politics or language of the band.
